Annual Leave

Years of Eligible Employment	Annual Leave Earned
Through the first year	10 hours per month
Through the second and third years	12 hours per month
Through the fourth and fifth years	14 hours per month
Upon completion of the fifth year	15 hours per month

Note: You accrue annual leave at the end of each month. Eligible part time employees earn leave in proportion to time worked.

If you were hired on or before December 31, 2024

If you were hired prior to January 1, 2025, you accrue annual leave at your December 31, 2024 accrual rate OR the above accrual structure, depending on which rate is higher. Your accrual rate was not reduced with the introduction of the new accrual structure on January 1, 2025.

Employees hired or returning to employment with the University with prior creditable service (worked for two years at another Arkansas public university) will continue to receive service credit for that prior service.
